Decoda returns to the small community of Camden, South Carolina, my hometown.  This year we have expanded our residencies, thanks to the support of Chamber Music America and the Hootie and the Blowfish Foundation grant programs.  This week will bring a stellar clarinet quintet (Owen, Anna, Meena, and Sarah Beaty - a Camden newbie) in an Interactive Performance Tour of all of the Kerhsaw County middle and high schools.  The quintet will also present free community performances at Morningside Assisted Living Community, the Department of Disabilities, the Wateree Correctional Facility, and the Venue on Broad, culminating in a celebratory formal chamber music performance at the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County on January 23, 2014 at 7PM.  Works by Mark O'Connor, David Bruce, and Brahms.
